Update: Movie Night Details
Thu 16th Oct 2008, 02:58 PM
Now that movie night is approaching the cinema has released session times.
The earliest session we can attend is unfortunately 9:00PM, due to this we will have waffles before the movie.
Feel free to show up late as we will be there quite early, waffles will probably start around 7:30PM so don't leave it too late.
We apologise for the late session time, but that is indeed the perils one faces when organising an event before all the details are released.
See you on the night.
Need Windows Server 2008?
Wed 15th Oct 2008, 03:54 PMAs many of you know (or don't know...) Microsoft's Windows Server 2008 has been released for a number of months, however ComSSA is still yet to receive the Keys and Media for the MSDNAA.
So, your choice to get Windows Server 2008 was, previously, to complain to the Tech staff and hope that we get the keys. However, Microsoft has now released their Dreamspark program to Australia, and one of the products on Dreamspark is Server 2008 Standard. So now you can download Server 2008 Standard, VS 2008 Pro, Expression Studio 2 and a number of other products for free. Also, if you don't want to download the media, have a chat to me as I have a copy of all the ISO's (you will still need to get the keys).
